ASSUMPTION DAY AT EMMANUEL HOUSE KENYA

On the 11th of august this year, the assumptionist family in Nairobi, religious and lays, celebrated together the assumption day at Emmanuel House. Not because our spirituality is founded on Virgin Mary’s assumption, but only because, as Christians, in the communion of the holly church, the assumption day is a memorial day.

Note that we are Augustinians of the assumption for two reasons. Firstly we follow the rule of St Augustine. Secondly, we have been created in the assumption college by Emmanuel d’Alzon.
The mass was presided by Father Roger SYAYIPUMA. Father Henri KIZITO, our new superior and father Achille MUSABINGO concelebrated. After the holy mass, a brotherly meal was shared.
